Our founding team brings 15–25 years of experience from institutions including Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Adyen, TSYS, and Capital Bankcard. We spent years building the systems, negotiating the contracts, and managing the risk frameworks that the payments industry runs on.
We left those roles because we saw a consistent gap: independent merchants were getting processor-assigned account reps with no real expertise, no backup support, and tools that tracked transactions but told them nothing about their customers. PaymentGuardian was built to close that gap.
Every merchant we work with gets direct access to our team — not a call center, not a ticketing system, not a commissioned outside agent. We manage your processor relationships, monitor your rates, activate DescriptorGuard on every MID, and stay actively involved in your account as long as you’re with us.
We’re a boutique operation by design. We take on fewer merchants than a large ISO would, because the level of service we provide requires actual attention — not automation and hope.
